The Matter of Estate of Mary Harker,
deceased |
Know all men by these presents,
that we Amos Harker, John D. Martin and Charles Dunn within the
State of Wisconsin am holden and stand firmly bound and obliged
to James H. Knowlton Esquire, Judge of Probate of Wills, and
granting administration in the County of Lafayette in the full
sum of fifteen hundred dollars, in lawful money of the United
States, be paid and the said James H. Knowton his successors
in office or assignersto the payment whereof we do bind ourselves
and each of us, our and each of our heirs, executors and administrators,
jointly and severally, for tha whole and in the whole, firmly
by their presents. Sealed with our own seals dated the 14th day
of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
forty nine. The condition of this obligation is such that if
the above bounden Amos Harker do make or cause to be made, a
true and perfect inventory, of all and singular, the goods, chattels,
rights and credits of the said deceased, which shall have come
to the hands, posession on Knowledge of the said Amos Harker
on into the hands on possession of any person or persons, for
him and the same so made, do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited
into the registry of the Court of Probate for the said County
of Lafayette at or before the 14th day of June ensuing: and
the same goods, chattels, rights and credits of the said deceased,
at the time of her death, which shall at any time after come
to the hands and possession of any other person or persons for
him do well and truly administer according to law: And
Further, Do make or cause to be made, a just and true account
of said administration, upon, oath, at or before the 14th day
of June next ensuing: and the same goods, chattels, rights and
credits of the said deceased, at the time of her death, which
shall at any time after come to the hands and posession of said
Amos Harker or into the hans or possession of any other person
or persons for him do well and truly administer according to
law: And further, Do make or cause to be made, a just
and true account of said administration, upon oath, at or before
the 14th day of March 1850. Which will be in the |

Amos Harker of the County
of Lafayette in the State of Wisconsin, and of
Lawful age being first duly sworn depose and
say that I am a son of Mary Harker late of
said county, that she departed this life in
said county on the sixth day of August
A.D. 1848 leaving personal property therein.
