When young he moved cattle from Grace, Idaho to Esequa

Moved to Rupert in 1932-33, shortly thereafter they moved to Burley where he worked for the amalgamated sugar factory as a night watchman.

Owned a '31 Model A

1935 - built a 2 room house on Burley's northside (535 Conant)
1942-43 Purchased a house and moved it to their property on Conant Ave. - used the materials to add on to their home
1948-49 - went to work for Jerome Co-operative Creamery on the north side of the river (Snake).
Late '49 or early '50 worked for the City of Burley.
1954 - worked for the Cassia County Highway Department
Later when back to work for the city at the cemetary.
Fall 1957 developed Hodgekins Disease

Always raised a beautiful garden, had a milk cow, and enjoyed hunting (primarily for the meat)
Desired to go back to church when he was older - wife accused him of going to see other women, stopped going.
