            for John Birch Wood. grave location D-7 on Utah Cemetery Index-
            Ancestry.com 
            1860 Utah Census Index has John B.Wood, Mary Wood, Nephi Wood
            all in SL 15th Ward p.151 
            1880 Census Mary is a widow in Plain City, Weber County. Nephi
            is unmarried, age 27. There is also a son John, age 19. (Amelia
            Wood Holmes had a child in Plain City in 1875) 
            John emigrated on the Windermere in February of 1854.
            There was an outbreak of smallpox on board, many saints died.
            All were quarantined at St. Louis or New Orleans upon arrival. 
            Mary emigrated on the William Tapscott in April of 1859 with
            Amelia (age 9) and Nephi (age 6) 
            Mary is listed in the British Mission Records p. 109 
            John is listed in the British Mission Records p. 27 John was
            a member of the Stockport Conference 
            John is listed in Pioneers and Prominent Men, "Came
            to Utah in 1856 in the Martin 'frozen' handcart company. Father
